Justice League Movie to Compete with Avengers 2 in 2015

Now that Warner Bros. has pretty much secured the rights to Superman it allows them to ‘fast track’ the Justice League film, and they’ve just announced they want to start filming next year in hopes for a 2015 release, pitting it up against the other big superhero team movie that year, Avengers 2.

It’s a bold move and almost the exact opposite of Marvels tactic where they introduced us to the characters first before getting them together. I’m sure a lot of people already know who Superman, Batman and even Green Lantern are by now but the rest of the League could probably benefit from a bit more exposure before appearing in the team movie. It’s also still up in the air whether the Superman in the Justice League film will be the same one we see in the Man of Steel film next year.
